Adamawa: APC Launches Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election Campaign

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State has launched its campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party’s National Assembly candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Party leaders at the campaign rally pledged to mobilise voters across the state to secure an overwhelming victory for the APC.

Speaking at the rally on behalf of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Deputy Governor Kaletapwa Farauta described the event as more than a campaign flag-off, saying it marked the beginning of efforts to place Nigeria on a stronger path of development and continuity.

Farauta commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what she described as efforts to reposition the country through his policies and programmes.

She said Nigerians were already benefiting from the dividends of democracy and urged citizens to support the administration by voting for the APC in the 2027 general elections.

The Deputy Governor assured party supporters that the state would work tirelessly to secure victory for President Tinubu, APC senatorial candidates and House of Representatives aspirants in Adamawa State.

She said party members would engage in extensive grassroots mobilisation to ensure electoral success.

“We will go door-to-door, house-to-house, village-to-village and stand shoulder-to-shoulder to ensure that APC wins overwhelmingly in Adamawa State,” Farauta stressed.

Also addressing the gathering on behalf of the senatorial and National Assembly aspirants, Mustapha Salihu described the rally as a historic moment and the beginning of a new political era.

He said the country had overcome major challenges and was entering a period where the gains of ongoing reforms would become more visible.

Salihu urged Nigerians to support continuity by re-electing President Tinubu and APC National Assembly candidates, arguing that sustained leadership would help consolidate ongoing development efforts.

He disclosed that the rally was initiated by the North-East Door-to-Door Movement before receiving the support of the Adamawa State Government.

Speaking on behalf of the group’s leadership, including High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, Salihu appreciated Governor Fintiri and the people of Adamawa for their support and participation.

He described the turnout as a demonstration of commitment to the APC’s political agenda.

Earlier, Adamawa State APC Chairman, Hamza Madagali, thanked party supporters for responding to the mobilisation call.

He urged members to intensify grassroots campaigns by reaching residents in homes, markets, settlements and places of worship to canvass support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid and the party’s National Assembly candidates.

Madagali said the success of the APC in 2027 would depend largely on the commitment of party members at the grassroots, stressing that sustained engagement with voters remained key to securing victory across Adamawa State.

The North-East National Coordinator of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door-to-Door Campaign Movement, P-BAT, commended the APC leadership at the grassroots for mobilising supporters from the 21 local government areas for the campaign flag-off.

The North-East Zonal Coordinator of the Bring Back Door-to-Door Movement, Zakari Hashimu, also appreciated APC members and supporters for their participation and pledged to mobilise 10 million votes for President Tinubu to consolidate the gains recorded by the administration.
