Nigerian content creator cum Nollywood actress, Kemi Ikuseedun, popularly known as Mummy Wa, has reacted to the insinuation that being a strong and independent woman affects her relationships.
According to reports, Mummy Wa in an interview with Punch said she does not entertain people who feel intimidated by strong women.
“I’d say no because only mentally secure people will be attracted to me. I don’t put up with people that are intimidated by strong women. “Men like strong women. They like women who are strong.
Ikuseedun named consistency as one of the hardest things about being a creative, especially when working on multiple projects and ideas.

“The hardest part for me is just showing up and being consistent on top of other things one is doing,” she said. There’s so many projects and ideas so in the midst of all these one has to consistently show up for the things one has already done and it’s crazy. “Being better than your version of yesterday and just showing up consistently.”
Mummy Wa said that the biggest challenge facing creatives in Nigeria is finances. “You need money to bring your ideas to life,” she stressed.
“I think money is a problem for everybody in Nigeria, yeah,” she said. I think the biggest problem, especially in the entertainment industry, is the financial part of it. Sometimes it’s the money that’s just not available to bring the passion, creativity and ideas to life. “Sometimes one wonders, ‘Should I continue doing what I love to do or focus on something else that will bring in so much money and one won’t have to stress oneself so much?’”
