Nigerian comedian and influencer, Aderombi Adedayo Martins, popularly known as DeeOne, has called out the Inspector General of Police, IGP Tunji Disu, over alleged refusal to arrest VeryDarkMan.
In an Instagram video on Tuesday, DeeOne reacted to the alleged failure of the police to arrest VeryDarkMan after he refused to honor an invitation for questioning.
DeeOne said Blord and Tacha were arrested for not honoring police invitations and stressed that no citizen should be treated differently from others.
Reacting to the latter’s post on the police invitation, DeeOne accused Disu of hiding VeryDarkMan from arrest.
He said: “Our current Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Tunji Disu, is turning into a useless man, fellow Nigerians. What is good for a citizen is good for all citizens.

“Recently, ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Tacha was arrested by the Nigeria Police Force, NPF for failing to honor police invitation on two occasions. Tacha has been released on bail but police did the right thing arresting her.
“Everyone in Nigeria knew the day B-Lord was invited by the NPF. We heard a story, they said he did not honor the invitation or did not show up when they wanted him to show up. And the Police quickly arrested him and charged him to court and the person that reported B-Lord was seen driving behind the van to escort B-Lord to prison.
“Today VeryDarkMan was invited by the same NPF for the second time. He has even gone to the extent of saying on his platform that he will not honor the invitation. To the IGP, you can’t remain in office forever now. And the word we’re getting is that they’re going to change you very soon.
“They have approved the arrest of VeryDarkMan. The arrest is being held now by IGP Tunji Disu. So Nigerians, is this man working for Nigerians or working for VeryDarkMan? Suddenly VeryDarkMan seems to be a fan of this man.
But Tunji Disu sir, DeeOne no send you oo. I swear to God, if I see you today, I will greet you as a respectful human being but I will tell you to your face that you are becoming a very useless IGP. Do whatever you want to do. If you want to arrest DeeOne, go ahead because DeeOne doesn’t stop and nobody can bring down DeeOne.
“Go ask dat VeryDarkMan wey you dey defend, wey you dey talk say make dem no touch am, about me. I’ll leave it there. I wish you good day, sir. So, you will be waiting for more videos. Sometimes we get a little personal even. Maybe some of your work wey you no do well or some of the things wey make them wan change you. “So we fit take them to social media.”
It was recalled that VeryDarkMan had announced he will not honor the invitation of the police.
After a series of allegations against the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Jimoh Moshood, VeryDarkMan was invited.
