StarTimes is bringing back its original dating reality television show, Hello Mr Right, for a fourth season, with artificial intelligence matchmaking and a new format designed to give women greater control over the search for love.
The programme will premiere its audition episode on September 26 on ST Nollywood Plus. The episode will receive a repeat broadcast on October 1, while the main season is scheduled to begin on October 3.
Television host and content creator Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as KieKie, will return as host for her third consecutive season.
She will be joined by Nelson Enwerem, also known as Prince Nelson, who is returning as co-host for a second season.

One of the major changes introduced in Season 4 is “The Switch”, a segment that changes the traditional structure of the dating competition.
Series Director Jide Ali explained that the new format would feature 12 men competing for the attention of one “Miss Right”, effectively putting the woman in charge of the selection process.
The season will also incorporate AI-powered matchmaking. Ali explained that contestants’ profiles would be assessed by an artificial intelligence system, which would then identify potential compatibility.
“We also have an AI segment that matches contestants based on their profiles. AI uses its own assessment to match the lady it considers most compatible with the profile of Mr Right,” he said.
Series Producer Rotimi Babalogbon said the programme would feature a wider range of contestants this season, covering different professions, ages, backgrounds and body types.
KieKie said that while the show would embrace technology and new ideas, genuine connection would remain important.
“I just think it’s about being genuine and being real, being authentic, because relationships are one very quick way to expose your flaws,” she said.
StarTimes Marketing Director Oke Umurhohwo said the company wants its original productions to reflect the experiences and interests of young Nigerians.
The season’s promotional campaign will include television advertising, social media activities, influencer partnerships, contestant content and audience engagement.
Hello Mr Right Season 4 will be available exclusively on ST Nollywood Plus on StarTimes.
