Reality TV star Ikechukwu Okonkwo, popularly called Cross, has disclosed that he allegedly turned down huge financial offers from men seeking to have sex with him.
The former Big Brother Naija contestant made the claim while weighing in on the recent controversy involving his colleague, Whitemoney.
Whitemoney had reportedly revealed that he received an unsolicited direct message from a man who called him “papi” and expressed an interest in him.
The revelation generated widespread discussion online, with Cross subsequently taking to X to defend the reality star.
Cross stated that having feminine traits or mannerisms does not necessarily mean that a man is attracted to other men.
He explained that people should not use a person’s appearance, personality or perceived energy as the basis for making assumptions about his sexual orientation.
He then shared what he described as his own experience with similar advances.

Cross alleged that some men had offered him N500 million and $200,000 to sleep with them, but he rejected the offers.
He explained that the decision was based on principles instilled in him by his mother from childhood.
According to him, he was raised with the understanding that money and material possessions should not be allowed to determine his values or choices.
Cross also expressed concern about the type of messages people send to others through social media.
He suggested that if he made some of his alleged private messages public, it could generate a strong reaction from the same people who were criticising Whitemoney for sharing his experience.
The reality star urged people to exercise restraint and respect boundaries when approaching others online.
